Prestashop Pretty URL - Improve SEO

This Prestashop module will remove IDs from your Prestashop links. It works on product, category, manufacturer, cms and cms category pages. It uses the friendly url setting alone to determine the page.

The module also adds "{categories}" keyword to the category URLs. After installing the module you can use it to place the parent category list in category URLs just like the product URLs. You can read more about this in our blog, Putting category parent path into the category URL in Prestashop.

The features are:

    • www.domain.com/category-link
    • www.domain.com/category-link/product-link.html

  • On the demo site below the module added less than 0.005 seconds to the load time.

You should note the following:

• The product links only have the link rewrite, ean13 are no longer appended even if you use them. You can still use them by adding them to the product friendly url.
